AILA registered Landscape Architect – Landscape QLD member – QBCC licensed contractor Sod Design was established, by sole director, Stuart Bull in 2008. Stuart graduated from QUT’s Bachelor of Design in Landscape Architecture with first class honours in 2011 and was nominated for the AILA prestigious Karl Langer Award (for academic design excellence). He also holds certificate IV qualifications in Horticulture and Landscape Construction. As a registered landscape architect with the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects, Stuart is committed to designing and creating a better Australia through healthier communities, greener infrastructure and more liveable cities. Stuart is also a member of Landscape Queensland and holds a Restricted Building Licence though Queensland’s building authority, the QBCC. Sod Design holds current insurance cover for professional indemnity and public liability. Stuart’s extensive customer, staff and project management experience has resulted from 15 years in the design and landscaping industry along with 20 years corporate experience in the manufacturing and FMCG industry. Business qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce (GU) and MBA (UQ). Business experience includes product development/management and marketing and senior management experience with a number of large Australian and international companies. Stuart prides himself and his business on principles of honesty, integrity and delivery to promise. He is passionate about using design and aspects of landscape to create beautiful and sustainable places for humans to live in harmony with local, regional and global environments.
