A small courtyard may be the only outdoor space available, so thoughtful design can make a huge difference to the eventual feeling of the space. Blending potted plants and small beds with vines and other materials is crucial to constructing a palette that helps blur the lines between indoor and outdoor living and ultimately making your courtyard space functional and visually appealing. Pool areas, often the centrepiece of a garden in Queensland’s hot summer, will benefit from careful planning and design. Often coordination with your pool builder will be required in order to create a smooth construction process and seamless integration of pool hardscape with surrounding garden spaces.
